We broke every participants record of the recent years and are very happy to see that so many people are interested in playing volleyball!
For being able to provide a good training and enough playing time we needed to set a limit per level. This limit is exhausted by now – all teams are full!
We will send out confirmations to all the lucky ones that were fast enough today during the day and will inform and pay back people that didn’t make it. These people will automatically be on the waiting list.
In case you want to be on the waiting list, write a mail including your volleyball level to firstname.lastname@example.org to be informed, in case of free spots in one of the teams.
We are really sorry we were not able to place everyone of you and will keep you informed in case of free spots during or at the beginning of next semester.
See all the new DTU Volley members on Wednesday!

In the past few weeks DTU Volley has gone through numerous exciting events so to keep you up-to-date with current whats and wheres:
February 22nd, the General Assembly of the DTU Volley was held. Almost 40 members of the club marked their attendance discussing the last year events, club budget, membership fees and board positions. As the most important outcome, we are hereby proudly presenting the new 2016 DTU Volley board members.
- President – Nienke Müller
- Treasurer – Martina Pesavento
- Tournament responsible – Bettina Wimmer
- Player responsible – Quentin Grasset
- Material responsible – Denis Kirchhübel
- Social activities responsible – Inês Caetano
- Public relations responsible – Tomasz Kamiński
The new board has now officially taken over and is eager to do even more amazing work than their predecessors last year. You can find the contact information and more details of the new board members on the BOARD page.
The Mix League team started this year is continuing their march towards the Mix 1 level. With recent 2-0 wins against Enghave VK and RS Rødovre Volley they advanced to the 1st place in the Mix 1 kval. with incredible win-lose ratio of 7-1. With a little help of other results, the promotion can become a fact already upcoming Sunday, March 13th.
March 5th, DTU Volley sent 3 teams to participate in the Alternative tournament organised in Sundby Idrætspark, Amager. Huge congratulations to the candies-winning teams of DTU-3 (who managed to get 4 consecutive wins!) and DTU-2 (who beat the DTU-1 team in the final). As a consolation to DTU-1, we can report that they didn’t lose a single serving draw throughout the whole tournament!
We are not planning any rest though! April is going to bring us another Amager chance for candies, the two-day DSM tournament and the long-awaited international tournament in Munich. Stay tuned for updates!
Finally, the date for DTU Volley Summer Tournament has been announced! So save June 4th in your calendar, join the Facebook event and await further information. We already have almost 400 interested participants. The last year’s record is in danger and you can help us break it!
Have we mentioned that DTU Volley is not only about volleyball itself? Still in January, a 10-person representation of the club took part in the PF Skitur. We really hope to beat that result next year. Furthermore, except for weekly Friday social gatherings, we held a couple of birthday parties and the first DTU Volley Bar Crawl ever. More than 15 players visited all the Friday bars around DTU Lyngby campus and had massive amount of fun. If it can be any better, it will definitely happen at the newly announced DTU Volley Påskefrokost, which will be held April 1st. You can find more details on our DTU Volley Players Facebook group.
Last, but not least, for the first time ever DTU Volley has an official mascot! Meet Shuffle, the Most Valuable Panda! Shuffle’s already been with us to some of the league games and is planning to continue our players in all upcoming tournaments.
First training of the semester is Monday the 31th of August at 18:15 in the sports hall, so be ready!
New player or simply curious? Just come in hall 2 in sport clothes at 18:15 to have a try!
This year, in addition to the three usual levels of training, a league team will also be formed, stay in touch for more information or contact our tournament responsible Victor or our player responsible Nienke.
The board of DTU Volley is very much looking forward to see you!
